The Minnesota Wind Chill is hosting a week-long high school ultimate frisbee camp this summer from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14 at Pamela Park in Edina. The camp is for participants of any gender who are entering 9th through 12th grade in the fall.
The focus of this camp will be individual development and advanced team concepts that will prepare the participants for high-level high school competition and eventually transitioning to collegiate-level play. The camp will also feature both small and large field competitive scrimmaging. It's recommended that participants have played on a middle school or high school team, understand the rules of the game, and have confidence with the fundamental throws and skills of ultimate frisbee, as we will not be covering those during our time together.
We are playing on a turf field at Pamela Park, so participants are highly encouraged to bring cleats, a white and a dark jersey or reversible, and water bottle each day. All participants will receive a Minnesota Wind Chill Pro Ultimate Frisbee with registration.
